Meet Cindy Noland I grew up in rural Western Pennsylvania loving nature, animals and the outdoors. I inherited my artistic abilities from my mother and combine the two interests in my work. I have been drawing as long as I can remember and got my first camera as a teenager. My main subjects for artwork and photography are of course, dogs and other animals and also nature and scenery. I am a self taught artist and photographer and have done artwork and photography for many private individuals and have sold my images to magazines and calendar companies. I strive to capture each animal’s unique personality in it’s portrait, and a detailed head study that focuses on expression is my favorite work of art. Of my many hobbies I found the one I never tired of was photography. Put a camera between me and a dog and I am in heaven. I especially enjoy the challenge of capturing exciting action shots of dogs enjoying themselves, so shooting agility and schutzhund trials was a natural choice for me. Being an exhibitor in the sports as well, I can bring this knowledge to my trial photography along with my technical abilities. I am just as thrilled seeing a great shot as the owners of the dogs are. If you are looking for something in particular, different or specific please let me know and I will do my best to capture it.
I still reside in western Pennsylvania and I am available to do photo shoots and trials in this and other areas. I use the Canon digital SLR camera system with top quality Canon lenses. I sell real photographic prints processed at a lab, not home made ink jet prints. My set up at the trials includes computers, large monitors for viewing images within minutes of the class ending, and proof books with contact pages of all the images of the trial. I also bring books of previous trials for exhibitors to peruse. Images are also available for viewing on my website. I usually get a trial's images posted by the following Wednesday, and keep past trials online for two years. Please contact me if you would like me to cover an event or do a portrait sitting. Thank you, and I hope you enjoy your photos as much as I enjoy creating them!
